Seeking Spa/Salon Coordinator
Full Time, Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
This position supports both the L’Atelier salon and the L’Atelier Day Spa, both located in downtown Santa Cruz. L’Atelier is known for its high standards of customer service, its beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, and a commitment to green business practices and products. It has been voted “best salon” in the Santa Cruz Good Times for 6 consecutive years.
The Spa/Salon Coordinator is responsible for maintaining stylists'/therapist' schedules, client satisfaction, smooth functioning of the salon/spa, and a positive, drama-free environment for clients as well as staff.
This would be a very rewarding position for an experienced, industrious, highly organized team player with an interest in the beauty/fashion industry.
Compensation:
$14-$16/hour after training, depending on experience

General Requirements:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to multitask gracefully
Proficient with common business software and able to operate a complex booking/point of sale software system. (Products currently in use at the salon/spa include Word, Excel, MindBody, Constant Contact, and misc. social media)
Familiarity with spa/salon products and services
Ability and intent to commit to position for at least a year.
Note: This is not a service provider position. Actively practicing stylists, massage therapists, and estheticians will not be considered for this position.
